Henrik Torstensson is a partner at Alliance VC, a Nordic venture capital firm investing in early-stage technology startups from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
Henrik is an investor and board member of Lightbringer (Sweden, patent protection), an investor and former board member of Steep (Sweden, analytics) and Mjuk (Finland, recommerce furniture marketplace), an investor in Encore (Sweden, platform for devops automation)/Leap.new (Sweden, AI developer agent for software developers) and an investor in Gilion (Sweden, growth funding and analytics).
Before joining Alliance VC, Henrik was a co-founder, CEO and board member of Lifesum, a leading health and wellness consumer service focused on nutrition and healthier eating, from 2013-2021. He still serves as a board director of Lifesum.
Henrik is an angel investor in Teamtailor, FishBrain, and Castle. He also invested in and was a board member of Videoplaza (exit) and Tieday Group (closed down). He was an investor in Sparta Sales (exit) and Brisk.io (closed down). In 2016 he was awarded Best Business Angel 2016 (Sweden) by Nordic Startup Awards.
Between 2010 and 2013 Henrik was head of premium sales and a member of the global management team at Spotify. From 2005 to 2010 he was SVP Strategy at Stardoll with a focus on digital products, conversion and payments.
