Tandem Health raises $100m (reportedly at $500m valuation)

Stockholm-based Tandem Health has raised $100 million (according to Dagens Industri at a valuation just over 5 billion SEK or $500 million). The round was led by the currently very active Scaleup Europe Fund with Kinnevik, Northzone and other previous investors participating.

Tandem claims that “peer-reviewed research has shown that clinicians using Tandem report a 29% reduction in time spent on admin, 30% improvement in job satisfaction and a 30% reduction in administrative stress¹”. Those are major numbers that, if generally applicable, could improve how the European healthcare systems work for doctors, nurses and other employees.
